How often do I need to have a lash fill?

Once you commit to a full set of lash extensions you will absolutely want to keep your lashes as full as possible. After all, you will want your lash line to stay fabulous! To do that, a lash fill every two weeks will be essential. You can take a lash fill to three weeks but your fill will take longer and cost more. The more time you have between seeing your stylist, the more time they will need to set aside for cleaning and prep versus lashing.

At four weeks you will need a new full set as you will have shed too many natural lashes by then (see Lash Fill Policy). It's super important therefore to keep to a regular schedule of eyelash fills. We recommend running standing appointments for over a year to keep you on point and to guarantee you see your favorite stylist!

Lash maintenance top tips:

• Keep to a consistent lash fill schedule. Book standing appointments to train yourself to know when you are due in the salon.

• Steer clear of waterproof mascara and oil or alcohol based skincare products and cosmetics. These will accelerate the break down of your lash adhesive, increasing your lash shedding cycle.

• Wash your lashes daily. It is essential to clean natural oils, makeup and other build up. Learn how to wash your lashes with these instructions and video.

• Do not be too rough with your lashes. Try not to pull or rub them.

How much does a Lash Fill cost?

Prices range from $70 for a Classic Lash fill to $145 for a Volume Mega Lash Fill but you can Subscribe and Save 20% by joining our month-on-month Lash Fills & Beauty Savings Plan Membership. Prices then range from $56 to $116. You'll also save 10% on all beauty services and products too!

Removing lash extensions

The lash adhesive used to attach extensions works by bonding the lash extensions on the natural lashes. This means, if you try to pull out the lash extensions, you will very likely pull out the natural eyelashes as well. 

If you no longer want the extensions on your eyes, it is highly recommended to return to the salon to see a professional so that they can remove them without damaging the natural lashes.

What are eyelash extensions?

Extensions are synthetic fibers that we attach to each of your natural lashes. We attach one extension or "fan" of extensions to one natural lash along your lash line. An eyelash extension feels like a normal eyelash but enhances your natural eyelashes. When we apply lash extensions as a full set, you will achieve a full and beautiful new look.

How long will a set of lash extensions last?

The natural growth cycle of your own eyelashes directly influences the longevity of your eyelash extensions. Lash Fills should be required every 2 to 3 weeks but this does depending on your daily facial cleansing routine and physical activity.

Do I have to stop exercising once I have eyelash extensions?

The first 48 hours after having eyelash extensions are the most important. We ask that you avoid sports and recreation activities that cause you to sweat, and especially those taking place in humid conditions. Examples include but are not limited to swimming, showering, visits to spas and saunas, tanning.

After the initial 48 hours you can return to your regular routine as the lash adhesive will be fully secure. It is still advised however to steer clear of high temperature and humidity saunas as they can loosen the adhesive bond prematurely. Learn more about eyelash extension aftercare.

What happens if my eyelash extensions fall out?

The longevity of your lash extensions are directly connected to your natural lash growth and how well you care for them (See Aftercare). For Lash Fills, if you have experienced an unusual amount of fall out in the first 3-days and have followed our after care procedures and still feel that you are not seeing the ideal result, please call so we can book you in for an immediate consult and repair at no cost.

Lash Fills aftercare

Be as gentle as possible with your new eyelashes or brows. Keep newly Lash Filled extensions as dry as possible for the first 24 hours. During the initial 24 hours stay away from hot and steamy environments (eg hot bath or sauna) as the moisture will impact the initial curing process.

To extend the life of your extensions, do not use any waterproof and oil-based mascara. Use water-based mascara sparingly on your eyelashes, preferably from the middle to the tips, avoiding the base of your eyelashes.

Avoid sports and recreation activities that cause you to sweat, and especially those taking place in humid conditions. Examples include but are not limited to swimming, showering, visits to spas and saunas and tanning.

Do not use any creams, eye makeup removers, lotions, sunscreens or cleansers containing oils on or near eyelashes or brows. Avoid rubbing your eyes and brows or touching your lashes with your hands or fingers.
